ACE SOMMERFELD
Ace
Sommerfeld was raised on the Chippewa River in
Chippewa Falls. He roamed the river as a kid fishing every chance he
got. After 30 years in Alaska and Montana, he settled in Eau Claire and
made muskies the center of his outdoor endeavors. He has released
enough muskies to be recognized as a Master Angler by 1st Wisconsin Muskies
Inc. Nearly all his fish come from lakes and rivers in northern
Wisconsin. Ace is a regular contributor to MUSKY HUNTER and Field
Editor for MUSKIE magazine. "Pursuing muskies is the most
challenging and exciting activity I've ever undertaken," he said.
"Gearing Up for Muskies" offers advice for anglers of all
abilities. You will learn to assemble gear practically and
